  • Do you have a Membership scheme?

    At the moment we don’t have a definitive scheme set up but if you sign up to our newsletter on www.stellatheatre.ie we will be letting our subscribers know when we have a scheme set up.

  • Do you sell gift vouchers?

    We will have an online gift voucher facility coming very soon. In the interim we have physical vouchers available in the cinema itself.

  • Do you take credit cards?

    Yes, we take credit and debit cards online, at the box office and in the Stella Cocktail Club

  • Are seats allocated?

    Yes. All our seats are allocated. You can choose where to sit when booking online. Available seats are highlighted in green while black means the seats you’re trying to select are sold out.

    Please note standard seats are our armchairs and for single occupancy, while our couches and beds are for two people. When booking one couch or bed, ticket admission is for two guests i.e price is €38

  • Can I change or cancel my booking?

    The Stella Theatre is not responsible for a Customer selecting the wrong ticket type; ie time, date or ticket type (adult/ senior/child etc). Customers found to be in possession of invalid tickets will be directed to a retail till where a member of the management team will refund their booking allowing them to purchase the correct tickets. The same seat selection cannot be guaranteed. Booking fees will not be refunded. Please note that refunded transactions will take 3-5 working days to return to a Customer’s account.

  • Where are you located?

    You can find us on Rathmines road lower. You can find it here using Google Maps

  • Is there Parking?

    No there’s no parking but there are two carparks nearby. One is in The Swan Centre on Rathmines road and at Tesco on Rathmines road upper. There is also selected on street parking in the area.

  • How do I get to Rathmines?

    You can walk or cycle easily enough from the city centre. A number of Dublin buses also pass through Rathmines and stop very close to the Stella Theatre. www.dublinbus.ie will have a full listing.

    The nearest Luas stops are Ranelagh and Beechwood. Both are about a 20-minute walk to the cinema.

  • What are your ticket prices?

    Our ticket prices are a flat rate of €19, €15 for seniors and €12 for restricted view seats.
    Prices for our family screenings at the weekend are €8 per ticket.

    Bed and couch tickets admit two people and are priced at €38

  • Is there an ATM nearby?

    There are many ATM’s close by AIB, Ulster Bank and Bank of Ireland all have on street ATM’s right beside the theatre.

  • Food and drink – what’s on offer?

    At The Stella Theatre we serve chilled cocktails, soft drinks, delicious hot food and confectionary. You can have a look at our menu here.

    If you’re lucky enough to look under 21 then we would advise you to bring valid identification with you if you wish to purchase alcohol.

  • Can I just go for cocktails?

    Yes, you can. You can visit the Stella Cocktail Club which is open 7 days a week. For opening hours please see www.stellacocktailclub.ie

  • I want to have a party, is The Stella Theatre available for private hire?

    Yes! To enquire about hiring the Stella Theatre please email karl@stellatheatre.ie and to enquire about hiring the Stella Cocktail Club please email book@stellatheatre.ie

  • Help me find my lost property please?

  • Is your cinema accessible?

    Yes! Our cinema is fully accessible on the ground floor with sloped floors and bathroom facilities. If you need any assistance while you are visiting us please ask a member of our team or call us in advance on 01 4967014.

  • Where can I see a full list of your screenings?

    Our full list of screenings can be under the Films tab on the homepage.

  • How do I collect my tickets?

    We have kiosks in our foyer where you can collect your tickets or at the counter while you are ordering your food and drinks. Our kiosks do not recognise apostrophes in your name so please omit these when typing in your booking reference (i.e ODONNELL not O’DONNELL).

  • Is smoking or the use of e-cigarettes permitted?

    Smoking or e-cigarettes are not permitted in any part of the building but there is an outdoor terrace on the first floor by the Stella Cocktail Club.
